Jewellery Care
We create jewels that are meant to be enjoyed for a lifetime and beyond.
Our tips
Remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities, gardening and arts and crafts. This will help reduce any marks and scratches on the metal and any dislodgements of gems and settings
The use of chemicals will damage your jewels. We highly recommend taking your jewels off before commencing in household cleaning and putting on your jewels after you have applied hair products, perfumes and skincare. This will minimalize any build-up of dirt in the jewels, keeping your gemstones looking brighter and slow down the rate of your metal tarnishing.
Some of our necklace chains are quite fine, take care not to get them caught or pulled. We recommend not sleeping with your fine chains on, to reduce to potential of your chain becoming tangled. For necklaces that have been strung we use silk threads. Please be mindful to not drop it, get it caught and pulled.

When storing your jewels, we recommend storing them in the boxes we provided. This will slower the rate of the metal oxidising and tarnishing. To clean your jewels you can use a soft polishing cloth on high polished pieces. For a deeper clean you can soak your piece in warm soapy water and use a soft toothbrush to clean hard to reach places. For matte and pearly white finished pieces, you can use an aluminium lined bowl and a table spoon of bi-carb a boiling water to soak your jewels before rinsing them off in cold water with a soft toothbrush to clean hard to reach places.

Our jewellery aftercare treatment
To ensure that your Danielle Lo jewellery last a lifetime, we are here to help keeping your beloved jewels in good condition.
We are grateful for your trust in us to be apart of your love story when you purchase an engagement ring from us. We offer a complimentary setting check and deep clean service on all engagement rings. Get in contact with us for this service.
For all gemstone jewels we recommend checking your gem setting every six months for pieces worn regularly. You can do this by “listening “to hear if there is movement in the setting or using a tooth pick to see if there is any visible movement within the setting. If there happens to be any loose gemstones in the piece, please get in contact with us to arrange to have your piece further inspected. All of our gemstone jewels have been securely set, Danielle Lo is not responsible for the loss of gemstones after purchase. Replacement stones can be provided (for a fee) to restore the piece, however due to the nature of gemstones we cannot guarantee an exact replica but endeavour to source a similar match.
All matte and textural surfaces will wear away with time, leaving your pieces to become shiny. You can have these surface treatments re-applied, please contact us for a clean and refinish service
We carefully design and handcraft all of our pieces to last a lifetime. We offer a repair service, which is assessed on a case by case bases. Every Danielle Lo piece comes with a limited warranty in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, covering manufacturing faults.
